Castle Mirai is a Japanese fortress located a little ways northwest of Bava, near Lake Dala. Even though there are no designated roads leading to it, it isn't particularly hard to find! It was originally established on December 16, 2015, by Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu and Gundam Tanaka, though they have since left Ryslig. It came to be in Makoto's possession because her girlfriend, Sonia Nevermind, disappeared and she took over the castle so that the animals could be taken care of. Much of this info was taken from [personal profile] fretless and updated accordingly.

The Castle's Features:
» Being surrounded by a moat and a 20-foot wall
» Has a single double-gated entrance.
» A large courtyard
» Four main buildings: single story palace, six-story tower keep, single room shrine, and a small watchtower.
» It is a slightly modified version of this. The differences are that the pool is a dojo, along with more bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a laundry room and less awkwardly positioned stairs. It is filled with things bought from Ryslig itself.

The Castle's Flaws:
» There is no heating or A/C, though everything is, at least insulated. No one will freeze to death in the winter, but they'll want to bundle up and drink a lot of warm things. In the summer, fans and popsicles may be needed.
» The watchtower has no door, making it inaccessible to ground-bound monsters since the only way in is through windows on the second story.
» The dojo seems to be haunted. Sometimes you can hear the sounds of critters, but you'll never see them. The birds sometimes sound like human wails. Construction accidents happened. Bear roars and snuffling can be heard too.
» The dojo used to be Ibuki's room, but Makoto has since repurposed it back to being a dojo due to moving music things to Kong Studios.
» All the plants in the courtyard are not dead, but they aren't being taken care of like they should. They aren't overtaking the courtyard, at least.
» The temple has been fixed and the pond under it is in decent condition.
» The palace and keep were initially covered in dust and grime and cobwebs, but it's been cleaned well and looks good as new.
» Dandy broke a fucking door and still hasn't replaced it, that ass.

Current Inhabitants:
» Makoto Kikuchi, Kazuichi Souda
» A metric ton of animals, who will get their own page soon.

Kong Studios - once owned by the members of The Gorillaz and Ibuki - has fallen into Makoto's possession. As such, she's updated it accordingly from what it was before. As such, it's much cleaner and very well organized, and she takes excellent care of all of the instruments and equipment left behind. There are a few different places of note, namely: the main floor, top floor, garage, basement, and bunker. It's located on top of a tall, winding hill just outside of Bavan.

The Main Floor:
» There's a jukebox in the lobby that plays a plethora of music.
» Bathrooms, both male and female and have since been rebuilt to suit monster bodies.
» A built-in theater that only plays horror films or Gorillaz music videos. Makoto is going to get this changed as soon as possible because she's so easily terrified.
» The studio is full of instruments, mostly containing: guitars, drums, and keyboards, though there are other instruments to be found.
» The studio also contains equipment to record and produce CDs, it has everything a person could need to produce music.
» There's a small kitchen with snacks and drinks.
» There is also an auditorium for performing.
» There was also a bowling alley, but it has since been refitted to be a dance studio complete with bars and mirrors.
» There was a shooting gallery, but it has since been refitted to be a dojo so that she can teach martial arts.

Top Floor
» The top floor is really just a bunch of rooms for living in, they are mostly being used as storage at the moment.
» There is a large kitchen and a cafe, though. It still tends to be mostly stocked with snacks and drinks, though.

Garage
» It's a garage. There's nothing in it, really, aside from a doorway leading into the bunker.

Bunker
» The bunker has two levels: a room to store food and a room to store weapons, both empty at the moment.
» There is a room of Brians, which has a bunch of pictures of men named Brian and an old radio that picks up weird frequencies. Makoto doesn't know what to do with the Brians.
» There's a boiler room! With a door that leads to a room that was supposed to have a pit to hell, but thanks to Ryslig, it's really just dirt flooring.

Basement
» The basement contains two rooms, one is being used as storage at the moment and the other is full of old computers. Who knows why? Makoto doesn't.
