The building is fairly unassuming as far as convenience store exteriors go. It's nestled on a corner just outside the heart of Bavan, where it's busy but not so busy the store gets overwhelmed. The inside is also fairly typical for a convenience store with just enough coolers to store the various drinks, snacks, and bento that need it.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
» The store magically restocks itself once an item is bought. Therefore, it'll never be out of anything except local magazines and goods.
» Local magazines and goods are the only things that do not get magically restocked. People come in every day to refresh magazines, newspapers, and local goods that Makoto wants to promote.
» The music in the store are a bunch of various Jpop idol songs that she's been storing on her computer.

Makoto intends for 8/12 to be a mostly one-stop shop, much like the convenience stores in Japan. Therefore, you can find a number of things.

» Magazines and newspapers.
» Need a business shirt and tie? They've got you.
» Personal care.
» Batteries, cheap flashlights, over-the-counter medicines, etc.
» Common (Japanese) cooking supplies? Yep. This includes things like various sauces, curry blocks, small bags of rice, miso, etc.
» Snacks. From furikake to mix with your rice to seaweed to varying kinds of salty and sweet bags of snacks to jerky, they've got it. This includes candy, of course, including many Japanese types of candy.
» Instant noodles. All those popular instant noodles you missed from home? Yeah, they're here now.
» Onigiri and sandwiches. Salmon stuffed onigiri? Amazing. Strawberry shortcake sandwich? Hell yeah. There are a lot of varying combos to choose from, both sweet and savory.
» Bento. This could go on forever, but the gist is that it often contains varying combos of omelette, meat, pickled vegetables, rice, sauces, etc. Sushi can also be found, along with bowls of ramen, udon, or yakisoba! Among other Japanese dishes.
» There's also a place to buy things like plain hardboiled eggs, plain chicken breasts, tofu, etc. A great place to pick up a quick cheap cooking material that you need.
» Drinks! The drinks tend to be of a Japanese variety, with loads of soda, coffee, tea, sports drinks, juice, and water. It's also possible to find some of those weirder flavors like cucumber and sakura. You can get them from the drink cooler, or in the case of some sodas and juices, from a drink machine.
» You can also get alcohol, mostly Japanese varieties. Did you miss having that sake?
» By the cashier, there's a buffet type table laid out where you can pick and choose what to put in your oden, should you choose to get some.
» Also found by the cashier is a case full of a few flavors of Japanese fried chicken. Heck yeah.

While the services aren't the same as they would be back in Makoto's homeworld, she's made sure to make deals with local companies to be able to offer some similar things. These services are:

» Package mailing. All you have to do is drop it off and 8/12 will make sure it gets to where it needs to go!
» Bill pay. You can pay your bills here and 8/12 will make sure to get them to the appropriate building. The employees will make runs daily to make sure that whatever comes in goes out to where it needs to be.
» Ticket purchasing. While limited because of the lack of technology, 8/12 carries a limited number of tickets for local shows if you're not able to make it to the box office.
» Lottery tickets. Yes, you can get your lottery fix here if you want. Get it, guys.
